This is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in around Packwood! It felt brand new. The host was incredibly helpful, place was well stocked, and the bedding was truly divine.

Oh my goodness! My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer:) The cabin was very clean, the kitchen so well stocked, beds were comfortable. There were plenty of games. We had the best time ever. You can hear the noise from cars but it doesn’t take away from the space at all. Would recommend!!

We had a wonderful visit at Eric’s home in Packwood. We spent the week skiing up at White Pass and this home was the perfect, cozy home base. The rooms each had a king bed which was such a treat. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked. The windows were the real standout, never making the space feel small but instead inviting the outside in. We loved the hot tub at the end of each day too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to relax!

We did our annual sibling family ski trip here this year for a change of pace and we were not disappointed! With a mix of younger kids and teenage cousins, the house was perfect for all the ages including adults--home has everything and although the house is clearly nice, it doesn't feel like someplace where the younger kids can't play and be kids. The cat cafe was a huge hit for the kids, the mix of fun/eclectic shops made for daytime entertainment and the food was great everywhere we tried. The Naked Olive has one of the best gluten free pizzas I've had. Very easy drive to Whitetail to ski/tube! Thank you for hosting us and providing a great environment for all to enjoy!

This cabin is truly the gold standard for a mountain retreat. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. The property was absolutely sparkling clean and meticulously well-maintained, which immediately set a relaxing tone for our stay. The interior is where the luxury really shines. I’ve never experienced bedding this comfortable in a rental; the linens were incredibly soft and high-quality, making it genuinely difficult to get out of bed in the morning. For those who love to cook, the kitchen is a dream. It’s stocked with premium supplies. Outside, the amenities were just as impressive. The hot tub was pristine and every other feature—from the fire pit to the tech—worked flawlessly. It is rare to find a place that feels both rustic and impeccably high-end, but this cabin nails it. We will be back again!

We first stayed here about 15 months ago and couldn’t wait to return—this second trip absolutely confirmed it’s our all-time favorite Airbnb. We’ve now made it an annual family tradition! The home was impeccably clean and spotless upon arrival, just as pristine as our first visit. Everything matched the listing description perfectly—no surprises, only delight. It truly feels like a luxury retreat at an incredible value for what’s offered. The thoughtful layout is perfect for groups: five full bathrooms eliminated any rush or stress, the third-floor game room kept the kids happily entertained for hours, and the hidden speakeasy was a fun, unique spot for the adults to relax and chat. We loved the sauna and dual hot tubs—they were pure bliss in the cool weather and made unwinding together effortless. We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The space felt welcoming and made it easy to relax and actually enjoy the trip. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in and communication super easy, which we really appreciated. The location was also convenient and made getting around simple. The dishwasher didn’t work upon arrival but we made due with dish liquid. Overall, this was a smooth, enjoyable stay with no issues at all. We’d absolutely recommend this Airbnb to others and would happily stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay! The location is beautiful and feels very secluded, yet you're still just a short drive from Black Hawk and nearby stores. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we were genuinely impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. Everything we needed was there, from pots and pans to utensils, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. We did run into a couple minor issues with the hot tub during our stay, but Eric was very responsive and took care of things right away, which we really appreciated. The only small downside for us was the living room furniture. It was totally functional, just not the most comfortable if you're planning to spend a lot of time relaxing inside. Overall though, this is a fantastic place with a great host, and we would definitely recommend it.
